David Gilmartin has extensive experience in engineering and plant management, currently serving as a Plant Manager at GAF since January 2022. Prior to their role at GAF, David held positions including Maintenance Manager at Bio-Rad Laboratories and Plant Manager for Roofing Systems at Johns Manville. With a strong engineering background, David worked as Director of Engineering, Maintenance, EH&S, and Security at Technicolor Creative Services, and as a Mechanical Design/Project Engineer at Technicolor Film Services. Earlier in David's career, significant contributions were made at Rockwell International/Boeing as a Mechanical and Industrial Engineer, focusing on test equipment for the Shuttle Orbiter. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Coast University, an Associate of Arts from Azusa Pacific University, and a Lean Six Sigma certification from Purdue University. Currently, David is semi-retired as of March 2024.
