Julien Penders is a Co-Founder and COO at Bloomlife Inc, where the focus is on enhancing maternal health through connected devices and data analytics since January 2014. In addition, Julien serves as an advisor at Gabi SmartCare, a Belgian startup developing pediatric remote monitoring solutions, and previously mentored seed-stage entrepreneurs at The Refiners from October 2017 to December 2019. Julien has held various roles at imec from 2006 to 2016, including Program Director for medical devices and digital health projects. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University and a Master in Engineering Physics from the University of Liège.
