Owen Mooney serves as the Learning & Games Development Coordinator for Dublin GAA County Board since February 2020 and has been a Podcast Host with ICOACHKIDS since June 2020. With a longstanding involvement in the GAA since September 2009, Owen also works as a Coach Developer in Coach Education. Prior roles include National Coach & Sport Development Coordinator for Special Olympics Ireland and Games Development Officer at Rockland GAA New York from 2017 to 2019. Owen has experience as a guest speaker at Mercy College, a DENI Physical Literacy Coach & Development Officer with Ulster GAA, and roles in education, including a substitute PE teacher and PGCE trainee. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Professional Practice in Sport at Leeds Beckett University, Owen holds a BSc in Health & Leisure Studies from Queen's University Belfast.
