Jarek Bird has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Jarek started their career as an Automated Testing Intern at ProLink Solutions in 2014. Jarek then worked as a TypeWell Transcriber at Brigham Young University from April 2015 to August 2016. During their time at Brigham Young University, they also served as a Natural Language Processing Research Assistant & Software Developer, where they worked on modifying the Termediator Website.
In 2017, Jarek joined Jarvis Ventures as a Software Engineer, where they focused on improving the Olumo texting service, an employee engagement survey tool. Later in the same year, they joined G&A Partners as a Software Engineer, where they played a key role in architecting and building enterprise HR software. Jarek created integration systems for data flow between various third-party APIs and developed a deep understanding of complex business requirements in the HR industry.
Jarek's dedication and expertise led him to progress within G&A Partners, and in 2020, they were promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer. Jarek continued to contribute to the development of HR software until April 2021 when they assumed the role of Director of Software Engineering at G&A Partners.
Jarek Bird earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Brigham Young University, which they pursued from 2011 to 2019. Additionally, during the same period at the same institution, they completed a Bachelor of Computer Science degree, although the field of study for this degree is unspecified.
