Denise Fender has extensive work experience in the digital and ecommerce industry. Denise most recently served as the Chief Digital Officer at G-Star RAW, where they started in June 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Global Digital Director at G-Star RAW from November 2019 to May 2021.
Denise has also served as a Board Member at Eton Shirts since June 2021 and at Dbjourney since April 2020, where they will continue until December 2022.
Before joining G-Star RAW, Denise worked at FitFlop as the Global General Manager - Digital from October 2018 to November 2019, and as the Global Digital Director from April 2016 to October 2018. Denise also held the role of Director of Digital at Miss Selfridge (Arcadia Group Ltd) from December 2013 to April 2016.
Denise's earlier work experience includes positions such as European Director of Ecommerce & Marketing at Urban Outfitters Europe from July 2011 to December 2013, Group Head of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing at Habitat from August 2009 to July 2011, and Head of Direct & Ecommerce at Graham and Green from April 2006 to August 2009.
Denise started their career as a Senior Marketing Manager at Toast (French Connection Group) in January 2000, and held the role until June 2004. Prior to that, Denise served as the Senior Digital & Direct Marketing Manager at French Connection & Great Plains from July 2004 to March 2006.
Denise Fender earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature from Bishop's University in Quebec, Canada, during the period of 1995 to 1999.
