Jamie Poole has a diverse work experience in the field of risk and financial technology, software development, and consulting. From 2006 to 2014, Jamie worked at Detica, initially as a Consultant and later progressing to Senior Consultant and Principal Consultant roles. In 2014, Jamie joined Cor Financial as a Tech Lead. Since 2015, Jamie has been working at G-Research, starting as a Software Development Manager and then progressing to the role of Senior Manager. Currently, Jamie holds the position of Head of Risk and Financial Technology at G-Research.

Jamie Poole attended Saint Olave's Grammar School from 1995 to 2002. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at Durham University from 2002 to 2006, majoring in Mathematics and Physics. In 2014, Jamie also obtained a certification in Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera Verified Certificates.
