Niklas Goerke is a seasoned professional in the fields of IT security and engineering, currently serving as the Department Manager at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik since November 2018, focusing on research in IoT security, automotive security, and hard- and software security. Previously, Niklas held the position of scientific staff member at the same institution, specializing in IoT security and security testing. Additionally, Niklas has contributed to academia as a lecturer at Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg and Hochschule Karlsruhe, teaching courses on IT security, cryptography, and data security. Early work experience includes roles as a research assistant and student worker at FZI and 1&1 Internet AG, respectively. Niklas Goerke holds a Master of Business Administration from Collège des Ingénieurs, a Master's degree in Informatics, and a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
