Daniel Bogdoll is a highly experienced researcher and entrepreneur with a robust background in computer science and engineering. Currently serving as a Research Scholar at the University of Michigan, Daniel focuses on data processing within the Mcity makerspace. As a Research Scientist at FZI Research Center for Information Technology, Daniel specializes in deep learning-based anomaly detection for autonomous driving. Previously, Daniel co-founded and led SAYM Mobility GmbH, developing an enterprise platform for carpooling used by major clients such as Ford. Daniel's technical expertise is complemented by significant roles at National Instruments, Ford Motor Company, and various academic institutions, focusing on software engineering, autonomous systems, and research. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Computational Engineering Science from RWTH Aachen University.
