Melisa Wynne

Melisa Wynne has a strong and diverse background in human resources and operations management. Melisa currently holds the position of Vice President Human Resources at FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers, where they collaborate with a team of HR professionals to improve company-wide programs and services for employees. Melisa also advises and partners with leadership on organizational initiatives and leads teams responsible for all aspects of people operations and processes.

Prior to their current role, Melisa worked as a Human Resources Director at Encompass Health, where they developed and implemented strategic initiatives for a post-acute care and rehabilitation hospital. Melisa aligned these initiatives with the vision and mission of the regional and local team.

Melisa also has experience as the Director of Human Resources Operations at Medellin Lodging, where they managed the setup and operations of a luxury property management company. Melisa was responsible for maximizing productivity and occupancy rates, analyzing complex scenarios for profitability, and leading a team of property managers specializing in high-end rentals.

Before that, Melisa served as the Director of Human Resources at Ref-Chem, a Burns and McDonnell Company, where they planned, designed, and evaluated human resource-related initiatives to support organizational goals in heavy industrial construction, maintenance, engineering, and EPC. Melisa oversaw the development and implementation of various HR programs and policies, including recruiting, training, benefit plans, wellness programs, and employee records.

Earlier in their career, Melisa held senior management positions at Saulsbury Industries and Fluor, where they led and directed HR functional areas and executed HR strategies for construction and engineering firms. Melisa also worked as a Human Resource Specialist II at Fluor, overseeing HR operations at client sites.

Melisa's work experience extends back to 1997, when they served as the HR/Operations Manager at McAsh Properties, LLC. In this role, they managed commercial and residential properties, as well as two retail stores, handling all aspects of daily operations and human resources management.

Throughout their career, Melisa has consistently demonstrated their expertise in HR management, strategic planning, talent acquisition, training and development, and operational efficiency.

Melisa Wynne, SHRM-CP, PHR attended the College of Charleston where they studied Business Administration. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in Trainer - Field Leadership in Oil & Gas from Red Rocks Community College, SHRM-CP from SHRM, and PHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Melisa also holds a certification as a NCCER Master Trainer from NCCER.
