Johan Nordin has a work experience starting from 2013 to the present. From 2018, they have worked as a Research Engineer at Fyusion, Inc. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2018, they held the position of Software Engineer at AUSY. In 2016, Johan worked on their Master Thesis titled "Realistic virtual hands: Exploring how appearance affects the sense of embodiment" at Johan Nordin. Before that, in 2015, they were a Summer Research Intern at Ericsson, and in the years 2014 and 2013, they worked as a Summer Research Intern at Scania Group.

Johan Nordin pursued their education in the field of computer science and media technology from 2011 to 2017 at Linköping University, where they earned their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree. Additionally, in 2015-2016, they studied computer graphics and virtual reality as part of a master's degree program at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
