Chenfeng Lu is the current President & CEO of Fybraworks Foods. Prior to this, they worked as a senior scientist at Cargill from 2010-2019, where they led and contributed to strain improvement projects for the food, agricultural and chemical industries. From 2007-2010, they worked as a research scientist at Metabolix, where they again led and contributed to strain improvement projects for novel PHAs and bio-based chemicals. Lu has a long history of working in food and industrial biotech, with a focus on sustainability.
Chenfeng Lu studied fermentation engineering at Jiangnan University. Chenfeng then pursued a Ph.D. in yeast metabolic engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
