Katherine Michalik Agbontaen is an accomplished educator with a strong background in English Language Arts instruction and camp leadership. Currently serving as an 8th Grade ELA Teacher at The Frances Xavier Warde School since August 2022, Katherine has previously taught 5th Grade ELA at Mount Alvernia Academy and 6th Grade ELA at Nativity Mission, Saint Ignatius School. In addition to teaching, Katherine held the position of Camp Director for a Girls Summer Camp at St. Ignatius School from 2018 to 2021, and has experience as a camp counselor and CIT Director at various YMCA locations. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and Secondary Education from Boston College, where studies were completed from 2012 to 2016.
