Shannon Morten-Smith has extensive experience in talent acquisition, currently serving as Director of Talent Acquisition at FX Networks since January 2017, after progressing from Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition. Prior to FX Networks, Shannon worked at Fox (Film, TV & Sports) as Manager of Talent Acquisition from September 2011 to January 2017 and held a position as Recruiter (Consultant through YOH) at Discovery Communications for a brief period in 2011, focusing on business affairs, production, and development recruitment. Shannon began a consultancy role at NBC Universal in 2009, acting as a full life-cycle recruiter for various networks, and also worked as a sourcer for the east coast Universal Television Group, supporting the recruitment process with candidate identification and interviews.
