Nshokano Katabana

Nshokano Katabana has over 20 years of experience in the technology and government contracting industries. In 1999, they began their career as a Program Manager at Lockheed Martin. In 2003, they joined Siemens as a Senior Systems Engineering Lead. In 2004, they moved to Motorola as a Network and Systems Engineering and was responsible for client systems delivery, deployment and management of multimillion dollar complex mission critical end-to-end wireless and telecommunication voice and data networks. In 2006, they joined ONY International as Vice President and Chief Information Officer, where they managed and grew the company from a staff of 3 people to a staff of 47. In 2007, they became the Vice President of Tech Serv Del at Fortis WiMAX Group Serving Client - (T-Mobile) and advised senior executive clients on spectrum management, telecommunication network deployments, enterprise solution delivery, innovation, value of IT delivered services, PMO build out, IT Governance and deployment of communication infrastructure, and broadband solution projects. In 2010, they joined Fannie Mae as Senior Director of Information Technology and was responsible for leading the technology vision for Information Technology solution delivery, Vendor Management, Managed Services, Shared Services, Client Engagement, IT governance and Application Development using SDLC. Nshokano also became a Board Member at the Washington Intergovernmental Professional Group, a non-partisan, professional organization dedicated to working closely with the diplomatic community. In 2011, they co-founded Edi.io, a platform that mitigates social media risk and provides the analytic reporting needed to successfully tailor social media initiatives to customers. Finally, in 2012, they founded FWG Solutions, Inc., an Award Winning government contracting firm that supports the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian agencies with C4ISR type capabilities.

Nshokano Katabana received a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland. In 2005, they also earned a Project Management Certificate from The George Washington University School of Business in the field of Scheduling and Cost Control.
