Ilona Schmidt is a seasoned professional in the field of vaccine research and public health, currently serving as Senior Key Account Manager at Finnish Vaccine Research since September 2022. Previously, Ilona held the role of Business Manager at the Vaccine Research Center at Tampere University from January 2020 to September 2022, and was also a Business Manager at the same center from August 2007 to December 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Researcher at the National Public Health Institute and as a part-time lecturer at the Open University of Tampere. Additionally, Ilona worked as a Researcher and Assistant Professor at the University of Tampere between October 2000 and October 2006. Ilona Schmidt earned a Master's degree in Public Health from Tampere University, completing studies from 1991 to 2000.
