Don England has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Don is currently working as a Senior Technical Artist at FuzzyBot since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Arch Virtual from April 2015 to May 2021 as a Senior Unity Developer, creating desktop and VR applications for clients and providing 3D models and asset support. Before that, Don worked as a Technical Artist for Self-Employed from December 2013 to May 2021, where they created Unity applications for clients in the medical and architectural fields and collaborated with remote teams. Additionally, they worked as a Digital Sculptor at Eleventyplex from July 2018 to June 2019, sculpting toys and collectibles and writing code to streamline production tasks.
Before their career in the tech and art industry, Don served in the United States Air Force. From May 2009 to September 2010, they were a Space Operations Crew Chief, responsible for space surveillance, missile warning, missile defense, and characterization missions within the Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS). Don also served as the NCOIC Standardization and Evaluation from July 2008 to May 2009, Space Operations Crew Chief from July 2007 to July 2008, and COMSEC Accountant from May 2005 to July 2007, where they maintained accountability for COMSEC material and equipment.
Prior to their military service, Don worked as an Instrument Flight Control System Specialist in the United States Air Force from October 2002 to March 2005, performing maintenance and repairs on instrument and flight control systems for KC-135 aircraft.
Don England earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, completing their education from 2010 to 2013.
