Hannah Z. has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Hannah began their career as a Civil Engineering Research Assistant at Queen's University in 2013. In 2014, they Co-Founded Humans of Global Engineering at Engineers Without Borders Canada, where they were a Marketing Campaign Manager from 2016-2017. Hannah also served as the Director of Global Engineering Curriculum at Carleton University from October 2014-April 2015. In 2015, they were a Research Assistant at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and an Economic & Environmental Researcher at Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict. In 2016, they were a Guest Lecturer at Carleton University. From 2017-2021, they completed their Master of Management Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MMIE) at Smith School of Business at Queen's University, where they were also a Design Thinking Guest Lecturer. In 2021, they worked as a Product Manager at Productboard and hireEZ. Currently, they are a Senior Product Manager at Fuzzy.
Hannah Z. has a Master's Degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Queen's University's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, as well as a Master's degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Hannah also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Civil Engineering from Carleton University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the LUMA Institute (Design Thinking Practitioner Certification, obtained in February 2019), IDEO (Insights for Innovation, obtained in February 2018), and AJ&Smart (Design Sprint Masterclass).
