Yan Zhou's work experience includes a role as Principal Engineer at FutureDial, Incorporated since October 2019. Prior to that, Yan worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Huawei Technologies from November 2016 to October 2019. Yan also has experience as a Computer Vision Scientist at Auris Health, Inc from November 2015 to October 2016, and at Progyny, Inc from January 2015 to November 2015. Earlier in Yan's career, they held a position as a Research Scientist at Elekta Inc from January 2012 to January 2015, and as a Research Intern at Siemens Medical Solutions from May 2010 to August 2010.

Yan Zhou completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Houston from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University, which spanned from 2001 to 2005.
