Candice Pendergast has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and roles. Candice was the Head of Digital Product at Future Group starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Optus from 2020 to 2023, where they held different roles including Associate Director - Digital, New Product Development, Digital Product Lead - New Product Development, and CX Optimisation Lead - Product. From 2015 to 2020, they served as the Head of Customer Experience and Insights at Harvey Norman. Before that, they were a Lead Experience Designer at The White Agency in 2015 and a Senior UX Consultant at Reactive in 2014. Candice also worked as a Lead Product Manager at oOh! from 2013 to 2014 and as a Senior UX Consultant as a freelancer and self-employed during that same year. In 2013, they worked as a Senior Product Owner (Contract) at Deepend and as a Senior Product Manager at Foundry Group. Their earliest role was as a Senior Product Manager at Deepend from 2011 to 2012.
Candice Pendergast holds a Masters of Business Administration (Leadership and Innovation) from the University of Canberra, which they obtained in 2019. Candice also has a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from the same university, completed in 2018. In 2009, Candice attended AdSchool Strategic Planning, although no degree or field of study is specified. Additionally, they have obtained a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from AGSM @ UNSW Business School and a Masters of Business Administration (Innovation and Leadership) certification from the University of Canberra, both obtained in 2020.
