Philipp Nikutta is a Software Engineer currently employed at Futurail since November 2023, following a diverse background in engineering and research. Previous experience includes a Software Engineer Intern position at Argo AI in 2021, and a Working Student role at CARSYNC GmbH where Philipp implemented and compared Deep Learning models for object detection and developed a parking slot detection model. A Research Intern role at The Johns Hopkins University involved dataset collection for COVID-19 research and work on deep learning pipelines for medical imaging. Earlier experience at Intel Corporation focused on CAD development and thermal modeling. Philipp holds a Master of Science in Robotics, Cognition and Intelligence from the Technical University of Munich, along with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from the same institution, and participated in an exchange semester at Seoul National University.
