Xavier Demeersman is a seasoned professional in the field of scientific communication, with extensive experience in astronomy and environmental journalism. Currently serving as Responsable ¨¦ditorial at Futura since September 2013, Xavier oversees subject selection and ensures the quality of published scientific content. Previous roles include Chef de rubrique and Web Journalist, along with independent journalism focused on astronomy and environmental topics. Prior to Futura, Xavier worked as an Animateur scientifique at Le Cosmographe, organizing sky observation events and educational workshops, and held similar positions at Nature & D¨¦couvertes and Parc du Cosmos. Xavier's early career began at the Centre d'Astronomie, contributing to public understanding of science through mediation and graphic design.
