Wendy Moody currently serves as the Human Resources Director for the Town of Fuquay-Varina since July 2019. With extensive experience in the field, Wendy previously worked as a 2nd Level Appeals Consultant at Blue Cross NC from April 2002 to March 2021, focusing on benefit issues. Prior to that, Wendy held the position of Benefits Coordinator at The City of Rocky Mount from November 1999 to July 2019, overseeing various functions such as retirement, orientation, and open enrollment. Wendy’s career also includes roles as a Benefits Coordinator at Wilson Medical Center and as a Personnel Officer at Hampton Woods Board & Care. Wendy earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management and Services from East Carolina University between 1989 and 1993.
