Doug Hussey's work experience begins in 2008 when they worked as a Community Executive - Development at the American Cancer Society until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an English Language Instructor at Wizville Language Institute.

In 2014, they held the role of Project Manager / Director of Operations at True Blue Aquatics for a few months before transitioning to the role of Events Administrator at Cancer Council NSW until January 2015.

From April 2015 to February 2017, Doug worked as a Senior Digital Systems Manager at Cancer Council Australia. Then, they were promoted to Head of Digital and held that position until July 2021.

Currently, Doug Hussey is the Head of Professional Services at Funraisin, where they started in July 2021.

Doug Hussey earned their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Marketing & Management, from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Doug attended this university from 2002 to 2008.
