Nicholas Garcia has over 19 years of work experience in the software engineering field. In 2004, they began their career at Bell Helicopter as a Programmer and Enterprise Architect. In 2011, they joined Jacobsen, A Textron Company, where they held positions as an Engineering Applications Business Partner and Sr. Manager IT. In 2014, they moved to TRU Simulation + Training as the Director of Information Technology. In 2017, they joined BoomTown - Real Estate Platform as a Manager Software Engineering and was later promoted to Director Software Engineering. Since 2010, they have also been the Owner and Developer of EquiSketch LLC, a software development company that specializes in equestrian mobile apps. In 2023, they began working at Funnel Leasing as the Director Software Engineering.

Nicholas Garcia received their B.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2001 and 2004. Nicholas then went on to receive their M.S. in Computer Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin between 2007 and 2009.
