Sarah Hoxsie has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sarah started their career as an intern at Oh Boy Records in 2007 and subsequently interned at Montage Music Group and Electronic Arts. In 2008, they interned at CBS News and the Country Music Association (CMA) in marketing and sponsorships. Sarah also had an internship at the Worldwide Music Department of Electronic Arts.
In 2009, Sarah worked as a receptionist and student worker at Oceanway Recording Studios before joining Flood Bumstead McCready & McCarthy as an Account Assistant. There, they processed invoices, reviewed legal agreements, and prepared financial reports. Sarah was later promoted to the role of Account Executive, where they managed financial statements, royalty calculations, and communicated with clients.
Sarah's next career move in 2014 took their to Viacom, where they worked as a Global Rights Analyst in the Global Rights Analysis Department. In this role, they analyzed legal contracts and inputted data into the Rights Management system. Sarah also created and maintained a tracking report for international Music and Media Licensing.
In 2018, Sarah joined Funko as a Senior Royalty Accountant. Their responsibilities included leading the licensor forecasting process, improving data gathering and forecasting processes, and collaborating with various teams to create comprehensive forecasts. Sarah also communicated forecast explanations and justifications to licensors.
In 2020, Sarah was promoted to Manager, Royalty Analytics at Funko, where they continued their work in royalty analysis and forecasting.
Sarah Hoxsie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Music Business from Belmont University, which they attended from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Negotiation and Mediation at Belmont University from 2015 to 2017.
