David Griffiths is the current Head of Risk and Compliance at Funding Options. Prior to this, they worked as an Operational Compliance Manager at Alphabet GB from January 2020 to July 2021. David also worked as an Operational Compliance Manager at BMW Financial Services (GB) Ltd from September 2015 to July 2021, where they provided enduring advice on COVID-19 regulatory requirements, Consumer Credit, Insurance and Complaints compliance, Regulatory Change, Vulnerable Customers, and EU directives. From May 2014 to August 2015, David Griffiths worked as a Vice President and Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager at Barclaycard, where they were responsible for compliance with consumer credit requirements, governance and control, third party oversight, and incident management.

David Griffiths has a Professional Diploma in Compliance from the IOB, a Professional Certificate in Compliance from the IOB, a CAFS from The London Institute of Banking & Finance, and a Certificate in Financial Planning from the Chartered Insurance Institute. David also has a Phd in Microbiology from the University of London and a Bsc in Microbiology from the University of Leicester. Finally, they are certified by the Compliance Institute in Licentiate of the Compliance Institute Ireland (formerly the Association of Compliance Officers Ireland).

They are on a team with and Gavin Werth - Head of Finance. David Griffiths reports to Ian Savage, CFO.
