Joseph Curtis has a diverse work experience. Joseph started in 2014 as a Tennis Coach at CETA Tennis and worked there until June 2015. From September 2015 to June 2017, they volunteered at the Indochina Starfish Foundation (ISF), where they raised money and awareness for the charity through a charity football match. In 2016, Joseph worked as a self-employed English Tutor, teaching two Chinese children English and immersing himself in Chinese culture. In September 2021, they became a Tutor at MyTutor.co.uk until March 2022. Joseph then joined ZAPPIT as a Client Services Executive in April 2022, staying until April 2023. Currently, Joseph is a Client Experience Analyst at FundApps, starting in April 2023.

Joseph Curtis has a diverse education history. Joseph began their studies in 2015 at The British International School Shanghai, Puxi, where they pursued an IB Diploma in International Baccalaureate. From 2017 to 2020, Joseph attended King's College London, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History. Joseph furthered their education by enrolling at the University of Strathclyde from 2020 to 2021, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Applied Economics. Joseph's educational journey continued at the University of Birmingham in 2021, where they pursued a Diploma of Education with a specialization in Full Stack Development.
