Daniel Koelker is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as the Senior Managing Engineer at Function Engineering, Inc. since October 2022, where responsibilities include leading a project team, managing budgets, schedules, and client relationships while ensuring high-quality deliverables. Previously, Daniel held the position of Head of Mechanical Engineering at Cobalt Robotics from October 2019 to October 2022, overseeing the mechanical engineering of complex robotic designs with extensive custom parts. Prior experience includes Engineering Manager and Office Lead at Function Engineering from 2010 to 2019, Mechanical Engineer at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, and Mechanical Design Engineer at Pratt Whitney Rocketdyne. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Aero/Astro Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
