Mike Makosky is the current CEO of Fulton County Medical Center. Mike has held this position since June 2018.
Prior to their current role, Makosky served as the interim CEO of Williamson Memorial Hospital from January to June 2018. Mike was also the COO of Plateau Medical Center from August 2016 to January 2018.
Makosky's experience in hospital administration began at Cibola General Hospital, where they served as CEO from December 2009 to September 2013. Mike then took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Bluefield Regional Medical Center from September 2013 to August 2016. Makosky's first CEO position was at Potomac Valley Hospital, where they served from August 2002 to December 2009. Mike also served as the COO of Potomac Valley Hospital from December 1996 to December 2001.
Mike Makosky has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Frostburg State University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration and Management from the University of Maryland University College. Mike also has a Bachelor of Science - BS in Management from the University of Maryland University College.
