Robert Bradley's work experience begins with a role at Pfizer as a Summer Intern in 2006. Robert then moved on to work at Van Andel Institute as a Research Technician from June 2009 to August 2012. During this time, they conducted research on the HGF receptor MET in glioblastoma and identified autocrine signaling as a predictor of MET inhibitor efficacy. Robert also discovered mitochondrial VDAC as a target of HSP90 inhibitors.
From August 2012 to December 2018, Bradley worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, first as a Graduate Student. During their time there, they utilized human pluripotent stem cells to study human astrocytes and developed an in vitro method to identify transcriptional changes in astrocytes when cultured with neurons. Robert then became a Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on the development and function of human astrocytes, using RNA-Seq to identify differences between astrocytes in different regions of the central nervous system.
Currently, Bradley works at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, starting in December 2018 as a Scientist and later becoming a Senior Scientist in June 2020. Further details about their current role are not provided.
Robert Bradley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Grand Valley State University. Robert attended the university from 2003 to 2008. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completing their studies from 2012 to 2018.
