Shigetaka Komori is the current President, CEO, and Director at Fujifilm. Shigetaka has also worked as a Project Consultant at BPO International, Inc., and as an Accountant at Fresenius Kabi Philippines, Inc.

Shigetaka Komori began their career as a Project Consultant at BPO International, Inc., where they provided services and business solutions in the areas of Accounting and Finance to clients such as AstraZeneca Pharmaceutical (Phils.), Inc., Sansen Phils, Inc., CEZ, Rosario Cavite, and Tann Philippines, Inc.

In 2006, Shigetaka Komori transitioned to working as an accountant at Fujifilm Philippines. In this role, they were responsible for general accounting and financial reporting & analysis. This included recording cash transactions, prepaid asset amortization, fixed asset depreciation, and inventory movements; processing corporate disbursements involving G&A expenses; revaluating cash accounts in foreign currency; reconciling balances and preparing schedules of GLs; preparing monthly cost of sales variance analysis of actual vs budget; preparing monthly sales revenue analysis; preparing monthly gross profit analysis; and uploading monthly sales data to the SAP connected to the regional office.

In addition to their accounting responsibilities, Shigetaka Komori also oversaw costing and inventory management, budget and forecasting, and logistics functions for Fujifilm Philippines. For costing and inventory management, they calculated and recorded product costs of imported goods and the cost of sales for the month; monitored inventory balances and controlled stock movements; and prepared monthly reports of expiring stocks within the next 18 months. For budget and forecasting, they consolidated projected sales revenue from the sales and marketing team and prepared analyses on sales phasing, selling prices, rate of discounts, etc. Shigetaka also calculated the projected cost of goods of budgeted sales revenue and projected G&A related expenses. Finally, for the logistics functions, they prepared monthly ordering analyses to determine the quantity of SKUs to be ordered; placed orders for all stock requirements; monitored status of open orders; communicated with the regional office to assure timely delivery of stocks; managed all incoming shipments; and coordinated with the company’s broker in the processing of custom clearance of goods arrived in the Philippines.

In 2009, Shigetaka Komori was promoted to President, CEO, and Director at Fujifilm. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company and its employees to continued success.

Shigetaka Komori has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. Shigetaka is currently working as an accountant.
