Gabriel Pena is a seasoned professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries with extensive experience in downstream manufacturing processes. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since November 2020, Gabriel previously held key positions at Takeda and Shire, including Senior Production Engineer and Production Engineer II, among others. With prior roles at Baxalta, Biotest Pharmaceuticals Corporation, and MedImmune, Gabriel has demonstrated expertise in large-scale downstream operations for various biotherapeutics. Educational qualifications include a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University and an Associate's degree in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Engineering Technology from Instituto Tecnologico de Puerto Rico-Recinto de San Juan.
