Alexandru Vlaiculescu is a Process Engineer at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, specializing in Engineering Science and Downstream processes, with a background in Drug Substance Manufacturing. Alexandru served as a speaker at Remtech Europe, presenting research on bioremediation of the herbicide Dicamba. Additionally, Alexandru conducted MSc research at Aalborg University focusing on pesticide bioremediation through bioaugmentation in collaboration with Copenhagen University. Alexandru holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Biotechnology from Aalborg University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Molecular Biology from the University of Bucharest. Prior voluntary work includes supporting the Diabetes Association from 2015 to 2018.
