Hazel Ng has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software development and technology. Hazel started their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant at MIMOS Berhad, where they gained experience in research and development. Hazel then worked as a Web Application Developer at Cyber Village Sdn Bhd from March 2015 to December 2015.

In 2016, Hazel took a working holiday at Seeka kiwifruit before joining BeyondEdge Pte Ltd as a Business Analyst from November 2016 to February 2017.

Hazel then transitioned into a role as a Full Stack Developer at Cube Payment Services Pte Ltd from March 2017 to April 2019. Here, they were responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining applications and microservices. Hazel worked extensively with frameworks and technologies such as Java, Angular, SpringBoot, and AWS.

From November 2019 to September 2021, Hazel worked as a Full Stack Developer at Book My Car, an online car servicing and repair platform. Hazel played a key role in building the system using Angular and SpringBoot frameworks and integrating third-party APIs for online payment.

Hazel then joined Safekeep in December 2020 as a Full Stack Developer. Safekeep is a platform focused on health and safety, asset maintenance, and corrective action. Their responsibilities included resolving safety risks, improving communication, and automating workflows.

Currently, Hazel is working at Fuel50 as a Full Stack Engineer, starting in July 2022.

Throughout their career, Hazel has gained expertise in various technologies, including Java, Angular, SpringBoot, JavaScript, AWS, and MySQL. Hazel has also demonstrated skills in API development, integration, and deployment.

Hazel Ng completed their Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained the certifications "The Complete Node.js Developer Course (3rd edition) by Andrew Mead" from Udemy in October 2019 and "React - The Complete Guide (incl Hooks, React Router and Redux) by Maximilian Schwarzmuller" from Udemy in September 2019.
