Stephen Whelan is a highly experienced Creative Director currently leading creative endeavors at FUEL since August 2023. With a robust background in academia, Whelan worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of the Arts London, focusing on enhancing resilience within the UK's creative industries through digital engagement initiatives. Additional roles include Associate Creative Director at Universal Music Group, Head of Immersive Entertainment at Happy Finish, and Marketing Production Lead at YouTube, among others. Whelan's extensive expertise spans creative strategy, brand partnerships, and innovative digital experiences, underpinned by master's and bachelor's degrees in American Studies from the University of Nottingham.
