Ichizo NISHINO is the Director of the Department of Neuromuscular Research at the National Institute of Neuroscience. Ichizo has also held various visiting and guest professor positions at multiple universities and institutions, focusing on researching muscle diseases, muscular dystrophies, and myopathies. Their education includes an MD in Medicine from Kyoto University and a PhD in Medicine, specifically in Neurology.
