Jeff Akers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Principal at MITRE since July 2021, Jeff supports program teams in enhancing mission and organizational performance. As a Senior Operations Manager at Frontier Technology, Jeff led the establishment of a new program focused on transitioning clients to high-performing organizations. Previously, as Director at CVP, Jeff initiated architecting services for DoD and Federal clients, significantly improving portfolio management. Jeff's earlier roles include Director of Process Solutions at Edaptive Computing, Lead Enterprise Architect at NCI Inc./Alion Science and Technology, Vice President at Nieto Engineering, and General Manager at Pepco Government Services. Jeff holds a Master’s degree in Information & Telecommunication Systems from The Johns Hopkins University, along with an MBA in Marketing from the University of Baltimore, and a Certificate in Performance Leadership from Cornell University.
