Wimar Klop is an Optical Communication Program Architect at FSO Instruments since September 2023. Prior to this role, Wimar accumulated extensive experience at TNO from September 2011 to September 2023 as a System Engineer and Control Engineer within the Opto-Mechatronics department, focusing on research and control software implementation for various projects. Wimar served as an Employeneur TMC @ TNO from September 2011 to August 2015, engaging in mechatronics development under an entrepreneurship model. Previous internships include a graduation project at Chess Embedded Technology in 2007, which involved developing a demonstration application for wireless sensor networks, and a project at Tuff bv in 2005, which centered around creating a webshop and back office application. Wimar holds a Master's degree in Embedded Systems from Delft University of Technology (2011) and a Bachelor's degree in Technische Informatica from Avans University of Applied Sciences (2008), alongside earlier education in IT Mediaproductie and Mechanics.
