As Vice President – East Coast, Rich leads FSIC’s sales and analytic teams on the East Coast, based out of New York City. Rich adds more than 22 years of service in the hospitality industry to FSIC’s vast array of distributor and operator experience. He has held various procurement positions during his career in New York, including Executive Steward, Director of Purchasing, Corporate Director of Purchasing, and Vice President of Purchasing at such diverse companies as Restaurant Associates, The Carlyle Hotel, The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, Abigail Kirsch Caterers and Bowlmor Lanes.
Rich has led the purchasing process in areas that include food cost control; development of supplier distribution agreements; contract compliance; and particularly, developing partnerships in the industry. His experience in procurement blends with FSIC’s background in distribution and cost auditing, creating a formidable, diverse knowledge base that clients can draw upon.
Rich attended Iona College and St. John’s University in New York.
