Muhammad Hussain is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive Director at FS Investments since March 2024, following the merger with Portfolio Advisors. Previously, Muhammad held the position of Senior Vice President at Portfolio Advisors from March 2022 to March 2024 and Vice President at LUMOSE from April 2020 to February 2022, focusing on business development. Muhammad's career also includes serving as Vice President and Investment Professional in Private Credit at Benefit Street Partners from July 2014 to March 2020, as well as Senior Associate and Associate roles at von Drehle Corporation and NexSteppe, respectively, where board advisory roles were undertaken. Muhammad began the professional journey as an Analyst in the Investment Banking - Leveraged Finance division at Royal Bank of Scotland Group from June 2011 to June 2014. Muhammad holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business, earned between 2008 and 2011.
