Nicholas Herwig has a diverse work experience in engineering and research. From 2020 to present, they worked as an Aerodynamics Engineer at FS-Elliott. Prior to that, they were a Thermal Analyst at Holtec International from July 2017 to December 2019. From December 2013 to June 2016, they worked as a Lead Engineer in Heat Transfer and Fluid Dynamics at Belcan. Before that, they served as a Research Assistant at The Pennsylvania State University from May 2010 to August 2013, focusing on Computational Fluid Dynamics and various projects related to turbomachinery and heat transfer. Their career started at Advance Auto Parts, where they worked as an Inventory Specialist from June 2009 to August 2013.

Nicholas Herwig completed their education at The Pennsylvania State University. From 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science. Subsequently, they continued their studies at the university from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aerospace Engineering.
