Laura Wilms started their work experience in 2013 at the Valley Country Club as a server. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a server at C.B. and Potts Restaurant and Brewery. In 2017, they worked as a server at Grimaldi's Pizzeria. In 2014, they joined Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, where they held various roles including Recording Secretary, Administrative Vice President, and Corresponding Secretary. In 2018, Laura became an Administrative Assistant at Firefighter CPR and later joined FRONTSTEPS as a Customer Support Representative.

From 2014 to 2018, Laura Wilms attended Colorado State University, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies and Business Administration.
