Derek Hanratty is a seasoned Security Engineer based in Ireland, currently self-employed since April 2019, specializing in projects for Frontline Security across EMEA, focusing on Google sites, access control, and IP CCTV. With a continuous role at Frontline Security Solutions since November 2015, Derek has also served as a Field Service Engineer for Mitie, managing CCTV and access control systems for the City Of London. Prior experience includes working as a High Security Engineer at Secom plc, where critical systems for major banking clients were maintained, and as an Engineer at Kings Security Systems, providing security solutions to various retail giants. Educationally, Derek holds a Cisco Certified Network Engineer qualification from FiveE Ltd. completed between 2012 and 2014.
