Zara Peisker

Group Product Manager at Frontline Education

Zara Peisker has a diverse work experience, starting in 2007 as an English teacher at The Academy of Business and Leadership Education, where they improved the school's grade from a C to an A. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a School Counselor at the University of North Florida, implementing counseling programs and leading projects that increased high school honors enrollment.

In 2012, Zara became the Response to Intervention (RTI) Program Manager at Thomas Edison Charter Academy, where they developed a remedial program for underperforming primary school students. Zara also worked at The School Fund as the Director of Outreach, managing a nationwide initiative to encourage K12 schools to sponsor students in developing nations.

Zara joined Frontline Professional Growth in 2013, initially working as a Front-End Developer and later becoming the Lead Front-End Developer. Zara developed features used by two million educators and served as Scrum Product Owner for a mobile application used to document teacher performance.

In 2018, Zara joined Square Panda Inc. as a Product Manager, where they managed the Teacher and Parent Portals for a literacy learning system. Zara conducted market research, formulated strategic objectives, and translated them into requirements for the development team.

Currently, Zara works at Frontline Education, starting as a Product Manager for k12jobspot.com, the largest K12 job board in the US. Zara then became a Sr. Product Manager, formulating data-driven strategies for a suite of consumer products. Currently, they hold the role of Group Product Manager, leading product managers and overseeing multi-million dollar revenue streams. Zara collaborates with various teams and partners to align strategies and drive product delivery success. Throughout their career, Zara has demonstrated leadership, innovation, and strong business acumen.

Zara Peisker began their education by studying Psychology at the University of North Florida from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in School Counseling from the University of North Florida, where they studied from 2010 to 2012.

In 2013, Zara attended General Assembly and completed a Web Development Immersive program, gaining knowledge and skills in the field of Web Development.

Zara has also obtained various certifications related to their field. In 2017, they acquired a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. In 2018, they received certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner and an Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance.
