Kayla Denson, PhD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Kayla currently works as the Co-Manager of the CP-CTNet DMACC Data Management and Reporting Unit at Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc. (FSTRF) since February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the CPCT-Net Senior Data Manager from July 2020 to February 2022 and as the Coordinating Data Manager for the IMPAACT Network from June 2018 to February 2022. Kayla also held the position of Lead Data Manager for the OlympiA project from March 2020 to July 2020 and worked as a Clinical Trials Protocol Data Manager from February 2017 to June 2018 at FSTRF.

Before joining FSTRF, Kayla was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in February 2017 and had completed their PhD as a candidate from August 2011 to January 2017 at the same institution.

Kayla began their career in 2011 at ConAgra Foods as a Flour Mill Quality Assurance Technician for a brief period. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Panera Bread from August 2010 to April 2011.

Kayla also gained experience as a Laboratory Assistant for Genetics and Biochemistry at York College of Pennsylvania from January 2009 to January 2011, and as a Research Associate at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center from June 2010 to August 2010.

Their early career experiences include working as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks from August 2007 to June 2010 and interning in the Cardiology Department at Johns Hopkins Hospital in May 2004. Overall, Kayla Denson has built a strong and diverse background through their various roles in both research and management positions.

Kayla Denson, PhD, MBA received their Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from York College of Pennsylvania, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2007, they attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County, focusing on Biology/Biological Sciences. Kayla completed their high school education at the Institute of Notre Dame from 2001 to 2005. Kayla then pursued their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at Frostburg State University, graduating in 2016. Following that, they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2011 to 2016.
