Matthew Rice has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew began their career at Pinnacle Security as a Security Specialist in 2005. Matthew then worked as a Shift Manager at McDonald's Corporation before becoming a Store Manager at Sonic Drive-In. In 2008, Matthew joined First Federal Savings Bank, Twin Falls, Idaho, where they held various roles including Teller, Retail Operations Coordinator, Branch Administration Supervisor, and AVP - Security Director/BSA Officer. In 2015, they transitioned to Frontier Credit Union and worked their way up from Director of eServices to AVP of eServices and eventually VP eServices. Throughout their career, Matthew has demonstrated expertise in areas such as security, customer service, operations, and strategic management.
Matthew Rice's education history includes attending Western CUNA Management School from 2016 to 2018, where they studied Management for Credit Unions. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management and Strategy from Western Governors University in 2014. From 2011 to 2013, they also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the same institution. In terms of their secondary education, Matthew Rice attended Hillcrest High School from 2001 to 2005, where they completed their High School degree.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Matthew Rice has also obtained several certifications. In March 2014, they received the BAM Professional Certification from Banker's Toolbox. Matthew became a Certified BSA AML Professional through the Independent Community Bankers of America in November 2013. In July 2013, they became a Certified Branch Security Officer, and in September 2012, they obtained the Certified Community Bank Security Officer certification, both from the institutions Sheshunoff and Independent Community Bankers of America, respectively.
