John Valdez is a seasoned executive in the telecommunications industry with extensive experience in network architecture and product development. Currently serving as the VP Technical Fellow at Frontier Communications since April 2016, John leads the Innovation team, focusing on research and development initiatives related to Passive Optical Networks (PON) and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). Previously, John held leadership roles at Verizon from 2003 to 2016, contributing significantly to the design and implementation of next-generation IoT service gateways and the Connected Home Program. Additionally, John's prior experience at Nokia Mobile Phones involved the strategic planning and technical integration for mobile product development.
