David Larson

Principal Industrial Quality Engineer at Frontgrade Technologies

David Larson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. David began their career at Signetics as a Quality Engineer, where they resolved complex technical and procedural problems and provided extensive engineering support for reliability testing. David then moved to Philips Semiconductors as a Staff Product Engineer, leading cross-functional teams in product development and optimization. Larson then joined Xilinx, Inc., where they held roles as a Staff Component Validation Engineer and Staff Product Engineer. In these positions, they monitored and analyzed product yields, drove yield improvement projects, and investigated and resolved customer technical issues. Larson continued their career at Goodrich ISR Systems as a Program Quality Engineer, supporting software validation and test assurance efforts. David then joined UTC Aerospace Systems as a Staff Program Quality Engineer, where they provided quality input to new product proposals and ensured compliance to quality requirements. Most recently, Larson worked at CAES as a Principal Industrial Quality Engineer, where they managed quality requirements for aerospace projects and provided quality engineering support to major customers. David is currently working at Frontgrade Technologies as a Principal Industrial Quality Engineer. David Larson completed an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from Santa Rosa Junior College from 1980 to 1983. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from California State University-Sacramento between 1983 and 1986. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the AS9100 Internal Quality Auditing certification from Plexus International in April 2012. Later, in August 2016, David Larson earned the Certified IPC Specialist J-STD-001 certification from IPC.
