Sander Nieuwland is a seasoned professional in the field of impact investing, currently serving as Co-Founder of Collective Action since January 2020, where the focus is on facilitating collaboration among global investors to achieve social and environmental impacts alongside financial returns. As a Partner at XS Investments since October 2013, Sander works with select impact investment managers to address significant global challenges while delivering market-rate returns. Sander also holds the position of Treasurer at Friendship Nederland since June 2017. Previous experience includes Managing Director at IMC Asset Management from July 2008 to July 2013, and roles in Capital Markets at Dresdner Kleinwort and J.P. Morgan from 1994 to 2008. Sander holds an MBA from INSEAD and graduated with a Master's degree in Law from Leiden University, recently completing the In-Board Non-Executive Program at INSEAD in 2023.
