Kun Ye Booth has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Principal at Friendship Public Charter School since July 2008, where previous roles included Resident Principal, Academy Director, Instructional Coach, and Middle School Science Teacher. Prior experience as a Science Teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools spanned from July 2003 to June 2008. Kun Ye Booth's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Bowie State University, earned between 2014 and 2021, a fellowship from the National Principal’s Academy at Relay Graduate School of Education in 2015-2016, a Master's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Bowie State University (2008-2011), and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (1998-2002).
